Your photo came from a wedding, a conference badge, a picture someone took in a garden two summers ago, in good light, when your hair was different.
You have known about it since January. You opened three photographers' websites, looked at the prices, thought about the half day it would take, and closed all three tabs. Not because you do not care. Because it never became the most urgent thing on a Tuesday.
Then someone opens your profile before a first call. Or a client passes your name on and that person looks you up.
The photo speaks first. Before your work does, before you do.

20 minutes in the studio, directed from start to finish
A personal styling guide, seven days before: what to wear, what to bring, and how to be ready on the morning
5 edited images, chosen and finished by me
Full commercial use, anywhere your work needs to introduce you
(A sixth edited image if you book the slot beside someone you know)
Pick a slot on the calendar and book your slot in ten seconds. The time is yours straight away, it comes off the list, and the appointment lands in your calendar.
Within 24 hours, I will send you a questionnaire to understand the purpose of the photos, and get to know you better to achieve your ideal images.
10 days before the session, I will send you a guide with hich colours photograph well and which pull attention away from your face. What to bring. You will not be working out what to wear on your own.
In order to create all your photos, I will suggest to arrive 10 minutes earlier to make sure I can listen to you for a few minutes before your session starts.
You will receive your full gallery after 3 business work days, and you will be able to download immediately your photos or also buy extra ones.
YARD is a ground-floor loft in a village, not a studio in a city centre. You park at the door. There is no one-way system to negotiate and no parking meter to find. For a twenty-minute session that matters more than it sounds.
If you would rather come by train, tell me when you book and I will send you the connection and the walk.
Is twenty minutes really enough?
Is twenty minutes really enough?
Yes, because of what has been taken out. The light is tested before the first woman arrives, the room does not change, and you come with hair and makeup done and one outfit on. Everything that normally eats a session has been removed on purpose. That is also why this is 295CHF and not eight hundred.
How far is the Studio from Zug?
How far is the Studio from Zug?
About 25 minutes by car, straight up the motorway, and you park at the door. Rothenburg is a village just outside Lucerne, not the city centre.
I don't like photos and don't know how to pose
I don't like photos and don't know how to pose
Almost every woman tells me this. What she usually means is that nobody has ever told her what to do. You are directed for the entire twenty minutes. Where to stand, where to look, what to do with your hands. You do not need to arrive knowing anything.
Can I book with a friend or colleague?
Can I book with a friend or colleague?
Yes, and I would encourage it. Two women in adjacent slots each receive a sixth edited image. Give her name when you book and I will keep your times together.
What should I wear?
What should I wear?
You will not have to work that out alone. Seven days before the day, a styling guide reaches you with the colours that photograph well, what to leave at home, and how to choose an outfit for the way you want to be read. Bring one outfit plus one layer, a blazer or a coat. Two full outfits would take a third of your session and you would feel it in the images.
Can I use them commercially?
Can I use them commercially?
Yes. Website, LinkedIn, CV, press, speaking profiles, anywhere your work needs to introduce you.
