Before anything is confirmed, we speak. I want to understand your home, your style, your vision — and you deserve to feel completely comfortable before inviting a photographer into one of the most intimate weeks of your life. This call is relaxed, no pressure, and usually takes about 20-30 minutes.
Once we've spoken and you'd like to go ahead, I hold your preferred session window around your due date. Because newborns arrive on their own schedule, we keep things flexible — your session is confirmed once your baby is here and you've had a couple of days to settle.
I come to you. Sessions take place in your home anywhere across Canton Zug and last 60 minutes — though I always allow more time so nothing ever feels rushed. Your baby leads the pace entirely. You rest, feed, and simply be present. I handle everything else.

The best time to book is during your second trimester — ideally before 26 weeks. Newborn sessions take place within the first 10 days after birth, when babies are still in that deeply sleepy, curled newborn stage. Availability in Canton Zug fills up several weeks in advance, so early enquiry is always recommended. If your baby has already arrived and you haven't booked yet, get in touch anyway — I'll always do my best to accommodate.

If you prefer a cleaner, more neutral setting, I can arrange an alternative location. We'll discuss what suits your space and style during your pre-session call.

Mini sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes, but I always allow buffer time. Newborns set the pace — feeding, settling, and nappy changes mid-session are entirely normal and built into how I work. You should plan for up to 90 minutes so nothing ever feels rushed.

The first 14 days are the ideal window for classic newborn posing, but beautiful images are absolutely possible beyond that. Between two and four weeks you'll lose some of the deep-sleep curled poses, but you gain more wakeful, alert expressions and those gorgeous early smiles starting to appear. Get in touch and we'll discuss what's possible at your baby's current age.
